The ‘floating garden’ in Market Harborough
What can you do when your limited for space and need somewhere secure to park at least two vehicles? Simple, build outwards from the first floor. Well actually it wasn’t quite as simple as that but we’re sure you’ll agree the results are simply stunning!
Working with a local architect, we were able to construct a ‘floating garden’ out of natural wood and steel, complete with working BBQ, space for a comfortable range of weatherproof furniture and some large planters, as well as lots of privacy for the owners.
How it all started out
Well of course before we could build upwards, we had to dig downwards to level the ground and secure the foundations. Why does it always rain when we do this type of work?
Major renovations and extensions at Bruntingthorpe
Here’s a really superb job that we enjoyed doing, involving lots of natural materials. Not only did we provide some new and inviting living spaces but we also created a brand new kitchen, sunlit lounge and dining area, and a beautiful new bedroom with working fireplace. Do tell us what you think of the end result.
A few before shots
A gorgeous family home but in need of some TLC in places but we were happy to oblige!
Harry’s first barn conversion
This is the first of a number of barns we have converted for Harry. He has a passion for barn conversions and so have we! It allows us to use traditional materials but with the latest technologies, to achieve truly spectacular results (if we say so ourselves!). In this instance, we even hand built all the roof trusses and the curvaceous staircase. Harry was delighted – take a look at what he had to say on our Testimonials page.
Turning dilapidated buildings into useable spaces in Lillingstone Lovell
If you’ve out buildings that are a bit of an eyesore and could be put to better use, take a look at what we did for this satisfied customer.
Not looking so great before we got our hands (and equipment) on them!
